Plot Summary
Years after taking a course in sociology and reporting, Albom is now a popular sports writer in Detroit. He is corrupted with power, using his moments to work until he flips on his television to find his old professor on Nightline. He is afflicted with ALS, however, he shows great clarity on life and death. Albom then visits his home in West Newton, Boston, remembering his former days as a student, when they were friends and Albom wasn't lustful for power. He visits time and time again, talking mainly about relationships, life and death, and culture as Morrie reaches the final days in his own life.
